The main topic of discussion today in the Yakut media was the launch of the publication “Federal Press” version that the New People party will nominate ex-mayor of Yakutsk Sardana Avksentieva as a candidate for the post of mayor of Moscow in 2023.
She, we recall, under the far-fetched pretext of health problems left your post in January 2021. Problems, however, did not prevent her from becoming a State Duma deputy.
Avksentieva, who was popular as a female oppositionist, nevertheless supported United Russia, leaving the post of mayor to her representative, and in the Duma speaks in accordance with the general requirements of the authorities.
How noted Yakut politician Vitaly Obedin, “it is impossible to seriously consider for the post of mayor of a city of 12 million, where the entire financial resource of the country flows, a person who did not pull the 300,000th Yakutsk, surrendered the entire team (except for the successor) and naturally fled under a fictitious pretext of health” – it is impossible .
“Sobyanin’s PR people and political technologists,” according to Obedin, “they will tritely pull out and replicate the finale of the “miraculous mayorship” (this is how the political technology phenomenon of Avksentieva is ironically called in Yakutia – ed.) and simply tear the reputation to shreds. The myth that ended in Yakutia in January-February 2021 will cease to exist in Russia as well.”
