The Times writes that the rate of this infection is 4 times higher than before the COVID pandemic. The publication also draws attention to a sharp increase in the number of children under 5 years of age with influenza (20 times compared to 2021).
The Daily Mail emphasizes that if the situation with streptococcal infection worsens, the authorities will be forced to “distribute penicillin” to citizens.
