Peskov said that Putin will visit Donbass. He promises this for the third time since the beginning of the war.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov again announced the plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Donbass. He is quoted by Izvestia.

“Over time, this [visit] will happen, of course, this is a region of the Russian Federation.”

However, this is at least the fourth statement on this topic since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. On November 9, Peskov promised that Putin would visit Donbass some time later, but did not announce the exact date: “There are no specific plans yet, but I have no doubt that the time will come when Putin will come to Donbass, of course. These are Russian regions, and he will be there.” The TASS propaganda agency quoted.

Peskov made a similar promise on September 6.

At the same time, on July 5, Peskov said that Putin “does not yet plan to visit border areas and territories controlled by Russian troops.” In what particular statement he announced to the press the real plans of the president is unknown.

The Russian authorities often do not fulfill their promises to the people. So, the last time the network drew attention to another statement by Putin about the need to relocate residents from the slums, but he has been repeating this demand for 15 years. He spoke about the immorality of the existence of slums back in 2007.
