Ukrainian servicemen raised the flag on the left bank of the Dnieper. Video

Ukrainian servicemen raised the flag on the left bank of the Dnieper. The video was published by the volunteer aerial reconnaissance unit "Carlson" on Instagram.

The soldiers of the special forces claim that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are opening a springboard for the further liberation of the part of the Kherson region occupied by Russia.

“The first Ukrainian flag on the left bank of the Dnieper. This banner was raised by the fighters of the Carlson special unit. Now we are opening a springboard for the de-occupation of the left bank of the Kherson region! The operation was completed successfully, all thanks to the precise coordination and offensive skills of the guys, ”the video description says.

On November 9, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, and the commander of the Russian group in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, instructed to withdraw troops across the Dnieper River. On November 11, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the return of control over Kherson. The representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, stated that not a single piece of military equipment and weapons remained on the right bank of the Dnieper:

“All personnel, weapons and military equipment have been withdrawn to the left bank. In total, more than 30,000 Russian servicemen, about 5,000 pieces of weapons and military equipment, as well as tangible property, have been withdrawn. All Russian military equipment subject to repair was also taken to the left bank of the Dnieper. As a result of effective management and well-coordinated actions of Russian units, not a single piece of military equipment and weapons remained on the right bank. All Russian servicemen have been transferred to the left bank of the Dnieper.”

However, videos posted online show otherwise. As early as November 10, before the entry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into Kherson, there were records with captured equipment of the Russian Federation. In November, videos appeared showing Russian servicemen blowing up their own tanks in the Kherson region after retreating from the regional center.
