A resident of Kazan was fined under the article on “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” for the poster “I love my dad”

Kazan resident Svetlana Poteryahin was fined 30,000 rubles under the article on “discrediting the Russian army” (Part 1, Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason was that on September 24, she went to the action against mobilization with a poster "I love my dad." Poteryahin herself told OVD-Info about this.

She and several other protesters were detained for two days at the police station after being detained. The girl said that the security forces threatened her with torture and rape: “There were threats that if we did not give up our phones, they would fill us with pepper, and they would let us go around in a circle, as a result, the phones were taken away by force, a representative of the “E” center sat down at each one and tried to find out information about the guy who ran away [during the detention], when we refused to talk, there were threats towards the parents.”

Initially, Poteryahin was charged with an arrest article for violating the rules for organizing the action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), but the court reclassified it to a lighter one. During the trial, the girl and other participants of the action remained in the department, which is why the meeting was held remotely.
