The first channel in the news program reported :
“In the suburbs of Paris, graffiti appeared with Zelensky devouring money. France is also experiencing an influx of refugees from Ukraine, plus colossal spending on military assistance: local residents are clearly tired of all this. Here is such creativity – in the suburbs of Paris. Zelensky, absorbing banknotes and gold bars. The signature can be translated as: “Hi, France. Give me all your money. I'm sorry, though I don't care."
The Insider has already written in the “Antifake” column about how a photograph of similar graffiti, allegedly taken in Warsaw, appeared on Vladimir Solovyov’s Telegram channel. In fact, there has never been such graffiti, and the photo turned out to be a rather rough montage. The same, as it turned out, with the Parisian version.
The place where the photo was taken is easy to recognize: in the frame is the entrance to the station of the 1st line of the Paris metro "Saint-Mande", this is the nearest south-eastern suburb of Paris. Opposite the place where the drawing was allegedly made on the pavement, the flower shop La Florangerie is visible. The fact-checkers of the Georgian portal Myth Detector contacted the employees of the store, and they said that there was no such graffiti and never was.
The drawing is different from the one "placed" in Warsaw, although the subject is the same. Both times, the moment of completion of work on graffiti was captured: the artist puts the final touches into the finished image. The artist in both cases, apparently, is the same (although the face is not visible in the Parisian version) and is even dressed the same. There are spray cans of paint next to the drawing on the pavement, and this is already quite strange. Myth Detector reached out to Polish 3D outdoor mural experts Lukasz Polyak and Przemysław Wojczak for comment, and they said:
“First of all, here you can see the atomizers installed as if for show. However, it would be difficult to make such a pattern using such sprays. They just don't spray down because of the pressure. They are used for applying paint to vertical surfaces. Usually such works are drawn with chalk.
In addition, they noted that even if the graffiti were washed away, there would still be traces on the pavement. There are no such traces at the metro station in Saint-Mande.
Both photos were originally posted to typicaloptical's Instagram account. There is nothing there but these two photos (the Parisian one, however, has already been deleted as a proven fake). The description says:
“We are Typical Optical. Not yet very famous art group from Poland. A new ray of light in the realm of darkness.
But all that the "ray of light" has created in the month of its existence is two versions of the same fake, which pleased the Kremlin propagandists.
