Olga Tsukanova, an activist of the Council of Mobilized Mothers and Wives, and two other women are being taken to the police station. Tsukanova managed to report that she and two other women were stopped by traffic police officers to search for drugs in the car. Now they are being taken to Police Department No. 34 in Syzran, Samara Region. Olga herself connects the detention with her activities in the Council of Mothers and Wives, a public association of relatives of the mobilized, the Avtozak LIVE Telegram channel reports.
On November 25, Vladimir Putin met with mothers of war veterans in Ukraine. Neither the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers nor the "Council of Mobilized Mothers and Wives" were invited to it – instead, representatives of both organizations were put under surveillance. As a result, it turned out that, in addition to mothers, Putin's interlocutors were ONF functionaries, as well as officials from United Russia.
On November 28, VKontakte, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the page of the Council of Mothers and Wives.
On November 29, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against Olga Tsukanova. She announced this during a live broadcast of the council. Tsukanova did not name under which article the case was initiated.
“We have received information that a criminal case has been opened against me. When surveillance began in Moscow, I already assumed. These men in jackets are afraid of me, preparing a criminal case,” Tsukanova said.
