Even children with disabilities and orphans began to be involved in tailoring for the Russian army. In Primorye, a special “competition” was organized for this, writes the local edition UssurMedia.
He passed at the automotive technical college in Ussuriysk. Pupils of correctional schools and boarding schools, children with serious illnesses were ordered to sew balaclavas, “friend or foe” bandages and snoods for the Russian military. Then they were “joined by volunteers” from Ussuri schools who made postcards and “took the initiative” to meet with the soldiers.
At this meeting, the children were told that “participants of the special operation carefully keep news from home and glue children’s drawings on military vehicles when they go on special missions, and balaclavas and snoods are as relevant as possible in cold weather.”
Schoolchildren all over Russia are involved in the manufacture of things for the military. In the Kostroma region, girls sew amulets to the military – scarves with the letter Z and prayers. And in Komi, students were told to sew sweatshirts and socks in pairs. At the same time, the guys had to tell the journalists that it was their “own initiative”.
