The lawyers of the defendants in the “Tyumen case” were ordered to sign non-disclosure agreements under the threat of removal from the case

Lawyers Fyodor Akchermyshev and Vladimir Loparev, who are defending the defendants in the "Tyumen case", were ordered not to disclose the data of the preliminary investigation. In case of disagreement, the investigator threatened them with removal from the case. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the support group of the defendants in the case.

The report emphasizes that, in fact, the lawyers “simply have nothing to disclose,” since they have not been given a single new material since the beginning of the investigation. In addition, the investigation did not provide any evidence of the existence of a “terrorist community”. “And the only thing we have since learned is that all the defendants in the Tyumen case were tortured. This leads to the conclusion that, hiding behind the “secrecy of the investigation,” the criminals in uniform are trying to hide the facts of torture and the absence of any evidence,” the support group said in a statement.

According to activists, only the lawyers of the defendants in the case were deprived of the opportunity to transmit information to the media and give comments. The prosecution is still able to communicate with the "baited media and present the case in their favor."

At the end of August, six anarchists were detained in Tyumen, Surgut and Yekaterinburg on charges of creating a "terrorist community". The FSB claims that they planned to blow up military registration and enlistment offices, police departments and railroad tracks that transport military equipment to Ukraine. All six defendants were tortured and forced to confess.
