As a result of the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the occupied Melitopol, Russia lost 200 people dead and wounded. This was announced by the mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov.
Recall that on the evening of December 10, several explosions thundered in Melitopol. Fedorov writes that the wounded Russian soldiers are being taken to hospitals in the annexed Crimea, since there are no more places in Melitopol. Ambulances are coming from different parts of Melitopol – not only from the east, where the attack was made, but also from the south. “Not all orcs are fond of hospitals. Some ambulances turn into the morgue,” notes Fedorov.
The Russian-appointed head of the occupation administration of the Zaporozhye region, Evgeny Balitsky, cites other data. According to him, as a result of the strike, two people were killed and ten were injured. He writes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the recreation center, “where people, civilians, had dinner on Saturday evening, the base staff worked.”
Fedorov, on the other hand, writes that the attack was on the building of the Melitopol Christian Church, which the Russian military seized a few months ago, turning it into their gathering place. According to him, there were 10 explosions in total. The representative of the occupation administration of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, just like Balitsky, claims that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the recreation center. He stated that Russian air defense shot down two Ukrainian missiles, the rest reached the target.
