The Cinema Fund allocated 100 million rubles for the film of cyborg heroes Ilya Muromets and Nightingale the Robber

100 million rubles will be allocated from the Cinema Fund for the film “Heart of Steel” about cyborg heroes Ilya Muromets and Nightingale the Robber. This drew the attention of the online publication "Polygon Media". The money of the Cinema Fund is allocated on an irrevocable basis.

According to the plot, back in the days of Ancient Rus', Ilya Muromets and the Nightingale the Robber find themselves buried by an avalanche during the next battle. In the future, they are found and turned into cyborgs. Muromets will be played by Kirill Zaitsev, the role of the Nightingale the Robber will be performed by Yuri Kolokolnikov.

The total budget of the film is 380 million rubles, the Bulletin of the Film Distributor reported back in November. A subsidy for shooting a film about Russian heroes was received by the Cargo company directed by Karen Oganisyan.

The Cinema Fund previously allocated 600 million rubles for the film "The Goalkeeper of the Galaxy" by Dzhanik Fayziev. The tape collected only 106 million rubles at the box office.
