In Belarus, on behalf of Alexander Lukashenko, a sudden check of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces (AF) of the republic has begun. The message was published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense in Telegram.
The verification is carried out under the leadership of the State Secretariat of the Security Council, the report says.
"The troops will have to advance to the designated areas as soon as possible, implement their engineering equipment, organize security and defense, and also build bridge crossings across the Neman and Berezina rivers."
At the moment, the movement of military equipment and personnel is planned, as well as a temporary restriction of the movement of civilian transport on certain roads and terrain.
Earlier it became known that the military commissariat of the Brest region of Belarus purchased 180,000 summonses for the mobilized, military registration and enlistment offices throughout the country demanded citizens to appear "for verification of data." During the visits, mobilization orders were pasted into the military cards of some Belarusians, Sota reported . In addition, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, stated that Ukraine is preparing to respond against the backdrop of the accumulation of allied troops in Belarus.
In October, Belarus accused Ukraine of "preparing an attack." Then he uttered a phrase that later became a meme: “And now I’ll show you where the attack on Belarus was being prepared from,” and promised to show something on the maps he brought with him. In July, Lukashenka accused the Ukrainian authorities of trying to launch a missile attack on Belarus. However, for now, on the contrary, rockets are launched from the territory of Belarus at Ukrainian cities.
