The leaked database of the “Moscow Electronic School” has the data of a relative of Gref – BBC

BBC Russian Service correspondent Andrey Zakharov confirmed the authenticity of the Moscow Electronic School database leaked to the network. Although the information technology department of the Moscow City Hall claims that “the published materials are not related to real data,” the journalist found information about himself, the children of his colleagues, as well as about a relative of the head of Sberbank German Gref and entrepreneur Ziyad Manasir.

Moscow Electronic School is a portal where parents can view their child's progress. The leak became known from specialized Telegram channels the day before, on December 13. As the “Information Leaks” channel, which is run by the founder and CTO of DeviceLock DLP Ashot Oganesyan, wrote , the database contains more than 17 million lines with last names, first names, patronymics, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth and SNILS numbers. According to Data1eaks, allegedly pro-Ukrainian hackers from NLB hacked the database.

Andrei Zakharov studied the database and notes that its data refute the words of officials. “It really has more than 17 million lines, and I found myself there, my email address and phone number: I used the system when my daughter went to a Moscow school,” he said.

According to him, another of his colleagues found information about his children with dates of birth. Those who were listed in the database next to his children were at that time their classmates. In addition, the database contains information about a relative of the head of Sberbank German Gref, businessman Ziyad Manasir and other famous people, writes Zakharov.

At the same time, not all people have contact information: there are 3.6 million phones in it, and 5.5 million mail addresses. The last user registered in this database is from September 8, 2021.

Earlier, it became known about the leakage of personal data of hundreds of customers of the Vkusvill store: according to the company, phone numbers, email addresses, dates and amounts of orders, as well as the last 4 digits of bank card numbers were leaked to the network.
