Yaroslavl blogger Andrey Alekseev, who was included in the register of foreign agents, was fined 10,000 rubles for the insufficiently large font of the foreign agent's badge, writes Kommersant.
We are talking about the marking “THIS MESSAGE (MATERIAL) IS CREATED AND (OR) DISTRIBUTED BY A FOREIGN MASS MEDIA <…>”, which in May the blogger posted to his post on the VKontakte social network. Despite the fact that the recording was made using Caps Lock, its size still did not suit the court.
At the request of Roskomnadzor, the font of the plate should be twice as large as the font of the message, and the examination of the prosecutor's office came to the conclusion that in the case of VKontakte, Caps Lock cannot provide the desired size.
“Expert Kuzmin measured the ratio of these very fonts with a ruler and came to the conclusion that we have a ratio of some kind of goblin 1:1,” Kommersant quotes the blogger himself.
As a result, the court found Alekseev guilty of violating the requirements for mandatory labeling of publications created by a foreign agent and fined him 10,000 rubles.
