Kherson is completely de-energized

Ukrainian Kherson is completely de-energized, said the head of the regional administration Yaroslav Yanushevich.

According to him, heavy shelling continues in the city.

“Kherson is completely de-energized due to enemy shelling. Strong shelling of a critical infrastructure facility in the Ship District of the city continues. As soon as possible, power engineers will start restoring the power grid,” Yanushevich said in a statement.

In early November, the command of the Russian army instructed to withdraw its troops beyond the Dnieper. On November 11, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the return of control over Kherson.

After the de-occupation of the Kherson region, more than 400 bodies of killed civilians were found on its territory.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported that a room was found in Kherson in which the Russian military tortured local residents. According to the SBU, it contained objects that "directly indicate signs of torture."
