According to an employee of the St. Petersburg office of Gazprom, he and his subordinates were "unofficially banned" from traveling abroad, "even to Turkey." At the same time, the ban also applies to the closest relatives of Gazprom employees.
“We were banned from traveling abroad, any. The consequences were not announced. But we are smart. <…> The ban was brought to us a few days ago. Many have already bought tickets and booked hotels for the New Year holidays. But you can’t even leave for treatment, let alone on vacation. People are very unhappy,” another source at Gazprom said. According to him, the company's security service will monitor the execution of the order.
Rosneft has a similar ban: the head of one of the departments of the state-owned company told Nestka that employees sign a special document that prohibits any trips abroad. According to him, while the ban applies only to the leadership.
