The European Union has imposed sanctions against 29 defendants in the investigation by The Insider and Bellingcat about employees of a secret unit as part of the Main Computing Center (MCC) of the Russian Armed Forces. They are engaged in targeting the territory of Ukraine with high-precision Russian missiles, which mainly hit civilian targets.
All of them are employees of the Main Computer Center, and most of them work in the missile strike planning unit.

- Colonel Yevgeny Kapshuk – Deputy Commander of the Main Computer Center of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces
- Colonel Igor Bagnyuk – Commander of the Preliminary Planning of Missile Strikes Department of the Main Computer Center
- Lieutenant Colonel Anton Timashinov – responsible for programming the route of all three types of guided missiles
