Anti-war activist and musician Aikhal Ammosov disappeared in Yakutia. Mediazona writes about this with reference to the Free Yakutia Foundation.
According to human rights activists, Ammosov has not been in contact since December 11. On this day, the last post on his Instagram was also published : a photo where the activist stands in front of posters with a photo of the shaman Alexander Gabyshev and the inscription “Freedom to Alexander Gabyshev! Freedom for political prisoners! Ammosov's acquaintances said that on December 13, he also did not appear at the Yakutsk city court for a meeting on his criminal case on "discrediting" the army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). According to Free Yakutia, the activist has been under surveillance lately.
A criminal case against Ammosov was initiated in August because of a banner that read Yakutian punk against war, which he hung on the roof of a swimming pool in the center of Yakutsk. Prior to that, he was charged with an administrative offense three times, also for “discrediting” the army (part 1 of article 20.3 .3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for this was the graffiti “Suoh Buollun Serii! No war! No War!”, an anti-war leaflet with the inscription “No War! Get your hands dirty with paint, not blood”, as well as an action near the office of a funeral company with a poster “The groom has arrived” – a quote from the film “Cargo 200” by Alexei Balabanov. All three times he was fined 30 thousand rubles.
