The authorities reported the death of one person during the shelling of the Belgorod region. The head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote about this in his Telegram channel. According to the official, the man who died in the Belgorod region came from Tambov, he worked on the construction of a poultry farm, where shell fragments fell. Earlier, he said that 8 people were injured. Seven were taken to the hospital, one of them is in intensive care.
According to Gladkov, an air defense system worked over Belgorod and the Belgorod region. Rocket fragments fell on the poultry farm. One building and several special equipment vehicles were damaged at the facility.
Also, according to the governor, in the Luch microdistrict in 4 apartment buildings there is damage to the glazing. There are also various damages in the private sector, according to preliminary data, in 14 residential buildings and 9 cars. All emergency services are on site.
Telegram channels report that residents of Belgorod were urged to hide in shelters, but the shelters were closed.
