Russian President Vladimir Putin issued an order according to which distinguished participants in the NWO are recommended to give out land plots in the Moscow region, Crimea and Sevastopol free of charge. The order is published on the official portal of legal information.
Local authorities must adopt appropriate legislation. At Putin's suggestion, land plots will be given to combat veterans who distinguished themselves during the war and received state awards, as well as to the families of fallen soldiers. The order went into effect today.
In March, Putin signed a law granting veteran status to war veterans in Ukraine. All Russian volunteers participating in hostilities starting from February 24, as well as members of formations created in the annexed territories, fall under the law. The law gives the right to monthly payments and tax benefits, free travel on trains, medical care out of turn and other benefits.
The president also signed a decree on benefits for enrolling in universities for military children participating in the war in Ukraine.
The massive donation of Crimean land to the Russian military after the annexation began in 2015, it was started by the then governor Sergei Menyailo, who is now the head of North Ossetia. Menyailo signed a secret order 195RP – on the transfer to the Ministry of Defense of land and property that belonged to the Black Sea Fleet under the USSR. Thus, Menyailo handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense a huge amount of land and real estate in Sevastopol.
Many plots where people lived for decades, bought and legalized their property, were at the disposal of the military. The military also left many beaches, one of them – "Tavrida" in Batiliman – was subsequently surrounded by a fence, the Crimeans were denied access to it. In 2019, the Ministry of Defense finally took this beach, as well as the popular Tolstyak beach, from the city by decision of the local court. Sevastopol residents were allowed to rest on the easement site.
In 2017, public hearings began in Sevastopol on the adoption of a new General Plan, in which the city was divided into zones. The lands of the Ministry of Defense in it were marked in gray. It was then that many learned what specific territories Menyailo gave to the military. The gray zone included, for example, the completely coastal village of Kacha, along with houses, businesses and even churches.
The transfer of land did not remain only on paper: the Ministry of Defense began to sue the owners of real estate and the city government. For example, in July 2018, the Ministry of Defense began a lawsuit with the owners of the Novacenter hypermarket. The requirement is to recognize the building as unauthorized construction and demolish it. The military decided to build a branch of the Patriot Park on this site.
In the Cossack Bay, where the military unit is located, the military began to cut down trees from the Red Book to build up the territory with houses for military personnel. Five meters from the cutting site and the site for future construction is a mass grave. A part of the park, which was laid 60 years ago by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, also went under cutting. The construction project provides for the construction of ten-story buildings and townhouses. It is planned that this will be a microdistrict for more than 1000 apartments.
