Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl published photos of winter Moscow and admired its beauty.
“Moscow + snow = beauty,” she wrote on Twitter and posted a photo from the Russian capital.
Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki responded to Kneissl's post on his Twitter, recalling how winter is spent in Ukraine.
He published photos of Kyiv and Kharkov, writing: Snow, darkness, war. Kyiv and Kharkov. On the frames of the city, which were left without electricity due to the shelling of Russia.
Kneisl headed the Austrian Foreign Ministry from 2017 to 2019. In August 2018, Vladimir Putin attended Kneisl's wedding. The President of Russia, among other things, danced with the head of the Austrian Foreign Ministry. From June 2021 to May 2022, she was on the Board of Directors of Rosneft. Kneissl stepped down after the European Parliament passed a resolution calling on former European politicians to leave their posts in Russian companies, while allowing the imposition of sanctions against Europeans.
