Russia transfers tanks from training grounds in Belarus to the border with Ukraine – “Belarusian Gayun”

Russia has begun to transfer tanks, trucks and personnel of the RF Armed Forces from training grounds in Belarus to the south of the republic, closer to the border with Ukraine, Belorussky Gayun reports .

According to the publication, during the day on December 20, the transportation of equipment and mobilized Russian troops from the Belarusian training grounds in the northern and central parts, where they were deployed, to the south was recorded.

So, at around 5:00 am, a train with military equipment departed from the Polonka railway station, which was stationed at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground (Baranovichi district, Brest region). During the day, the train passed: Bereza, Zhabinka, Drogichin, Ivanovo and arrived in Luninets in the Brest region, the channel notes. According to the publication, there are now 23 T-80 tanks, eight fuel trucks, nine trucks, including Urals and KamAZ trucks, as well as two passenger and seven freight cars on the platforms. This information is also confirmed by the Community of Railway Workers of Belarus in the Telegram channel.

Also, "Belarusian Gayun" claims that on December 19, at the Zaslonovo railway station in the Vitebsk region, the RF Armed Forces loaded onto platforms more than 20 tanks and about 16 Urals from the Lepelsky training ground, the train headed for the Orsha region and left for Osipovichi . According to preliminary data, he will go to Slutsk in the Minsk region, also closer to the Ukrainian border.

In addition, on the morning of December 20, the third echelon of the Russian Armed Forces passed through Shklov in the Mogilev region with 20 BMP-2s, three fuel trucks, seven Urals, a mobile communications control center (MPUS-K) based on KamAZ, and four Russian Railways passenger cars, as well as freight wagons. As a result, the equipment arrived in Kalinkovichi, Gomel region, and can go further.

On December 13, in Belarus, on behalf of Lukashenka, an unscheduled check of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces began . Before that, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, said that Ukraine was preparing to respond due to the accumulation of allied troops in Belarus. Mutual accusations of preparing an attack by Belarus on the one hand and Ukraine on the other have been regular since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the countries refer to intelligence data.

In October, Belarus accused Ukraine of preparing an attack, and back in the spring, at a meeting with Putin, Lukashenka alluded to intelligence, according to which an attack was being prepared against Belarus – later his phrase became a meme. In July, Lukashenko said that the Ukrainian authorities want to launch a missile attack on Belarus, but so far it is from the territory of Belarus under his leadership that Russia is launching missiles at Ukrainian cities.
