Greece closes its airspace for flights from Belarus – Pentapostagma

Greece closed its airspace for aviation flights from Belarus and banned flights to it. This is reported by the Greek portal pentapostagma.gr.

“This step is connected with the growing fears about the participation of Belarus in the war in Ukraine and the upcoming important statements by Minsk,” the message says.

Ukrainian cities are regularly shelled from the territory of Belarus, but despite this, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko wished Ukraine a “peaceful sky” in the summer.

In December, Putin and Lukashenko agreed to continue joint military exercises and work on the development and production of military equipment.
