The Russian Anti-War Committee in Sweden is recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia

The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation declared the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization Ryska Antikrigskommitteten i Sverige (Russian Anti-War Committee in Sweden) undesirable.

The Prosecutor General's Office believes that its activities pose a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and Russia's security.

The committee appeared in May 2022. It was founded by Russian-speaking residents of Sweden who oppose the war in Ukraine.

“The main mission of our movement is to unite all citizens of the Russian Federation and all Russian speakers in Sweden, protesting against the criminal war unleashed by Putin and his entourage in Ukraine. We demand an immediate cessation of aggression against Ukraine,” the organization’s website says .

On November 14, Mikhail Khodorkovsky's French Open Press was recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia. On November 29, the Prosecutor General's Office declared the Lithuanian analytical center Riddle undesirable.
