Journalist Andriy Loshak dedicated the Profession of a Journalist Award to Oksana Baulina, a journalist from The Insider, who died during a rocket attack in Kyiv. He wrote about it on Facebook.

Loshak received an award for the documentary Breaking Communications for Present Time, about the split in Russian families amid different attitudes towards the war.

“I would like to dedicate the award to Oksana Baulina, a journalist and friend who died this spring from a Russian rocket in Kyiv.”

The main opposition media were banned, the majority of honest independent journalists were forced to leave their homeland, many of them were given the status of foreign agents, and some were charged with criminal cases. Nevertheless, they continued to work and bring people the truth about the war.”
