The news agency Moskva, in turn, claims , referring to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, that the fire occurred in garage boxes.

According to Ksenia Sobchak's channel, the fire started in the military unit around 00:00. The report also says that the garages caught fire, as a result, the flames spread to 200 square meters of the territory of the unit: near the maintenance and repair zone. The fire was extinguished three hours later. There were no casualties, according to Baza.

The authorities did not comment on the incident. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Russia has regularly experienced fires in military units, attacks on airfields and shelling of border areas. Some incidents, especially shelling, are commented on by officials in their Telegram channels, posting photos and videos. At the same time, after Putin announced a “partial” mobilization, arson of military registration and enlistment offices and administrative buildings began to occur. One of the latest arsons was committed by an eleventh-grader in Kazan – on October 5, the Sovetsky District Court sent her under house arrest. In December, the State Duma adopted a bill in the first reading, according to which "sabotage" would be punished with imprisonment from 15 to 20 years and a fine of up to 1 million rubles or life imprisonment.
