In Kabardino-Balkaria, FSB officers killed two local residents suspected of “preparing an attack on the military registration and enlistment office” during their arrest, Baza reports .
On the eve of the suspects – 40-year-old Murat Shadov and 55-year-old Timur Marshenkulov – a criminal case was initiated on the preparation of a terrorist attack. According to the investigation, they were going to attack the military enlistment office in Chegem. According to Baza, Shadov and Marshenkulov resisted and were killed during the arrest, which took place in the forest on the outskirts of Nalchik.
According to Baza, FSB officers found a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a Makarov pistol and homemade explosives from the dead.
