Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a government decree that amends the Roskomnadzor register of prohibited information.
Now the basis for getting into this register will be "information promoting non-traditional sexual relations and (or) preferences, pedophilia, sex change." Which sites fit this definition will be decided by Roskomnadzor.
The law introducing a complete ban on "propaganda of non-traditional relations" and the dissemination of information about LGBT people was signed by Vladimir Putin on December 5. The very next day, Russian bookstores began withdrawing from sale some of the books that may fall under this law.
Previously, Russian law provided for a ban only on "LGBT propaganda" among minors.
