Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has liberated 1,884 settlements from Russian occupation — Office of the President of Ukraine

During the full-scale war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 1,884 settlements from Russian occupation. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

“2022 has shown how strong we are. We are all – our president, our troops, our volunteers, our state. From February to the present day, 1,884 settlements have been de-occupied. Immediately behind the APU, the Ukrainian authorities came there. Restoration of infrastructure, electricity, water and gas supply, humanitarian aid, restoration of public services, cash payments,” he writes.

Also, according to Tymoshenko, at the moment one of the main priorities in the work of the Ukrainian authorities is infrastructure. 15,199 objects have already been restored, almost the same number is in the process. On the northern border of Ukraine, anti-vehicle, anti-personnel and mine-explosive barriers and reinforced concrete sections are being built.
