Ukraine imposed sanctions against Basta, Petrosyan, Allegrova, Simonyan, Kiselyov and 114 other people

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against 119 public figures. The document was published on the website of the head of state.

The sanctions list includes Maxim Averin, Irina Allegrova, Basta, Dima Bilan, Vladimir Vinokur, Mikhail Galustyan, Larisa Dolina, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Philip Kirkorov, Sergey Lazarev, Grigory Leps, Nikita Mikhalkov, Evgeny Petrosyan, Valeria and her husband Joseph Prigozhin, Mikhail Shufutinsky, Stas Piekha, Artemy Lebedev.

The restrictions also affected some TV presenters, for example, Margarita Simonyan, Dmitry Kiselev, and Leonid Yakubovich.

The sanctions provide for the blocking of assets in Ukraine, the restriction of trade operations, a ban on movement through the territory of Ukraine, the deprivation of state awards of the country, a ban on obtaining visas and other measures.

The list also included three people who have Ukrainian citizenship – Channel One TV presenter Zhanna Badoeva, singer Lolita Milyavskaya and football coach Anatoly Tymoshchuk.
