“I put the device on the Nazis and their courts.” Deputy Boris Vishnevsky and politician Maxim Reznik are accused under the article on “discrediting the army”

Boris Vishnevsky, a deputy of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly from Yabloko, and a politician, ex-deputy Maxim Reznik, are accused under the article on “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” (Article 20.3.3, Part 1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by ZAKS.Ru. According to the publication, the cases came to court on the morning of January 9.

Neither Reznik nor Vishnevsky signed the protocols on an administrative offense and they do not know what they are connected with. In the case of "discredit" in the case of a corresponding court decision, a person is fined up to 50 thousand rubles. Repeated violation threatens to initiate a criminal case.

Maxim Reznik is not in Russia. He left the country in September 2022, according to the ex-deputy, he was informed about the threat of imprisonment. Reznik is known in St. Petersburg for his oppositional position, which he often expressed from the rostrum of the local legislative assembly, often without having time to finish – the former head of the legislative assembly, United Russia Vyacheslav Makarov, turned off the microphone to Reznik as soon as he took the floor.

As Reznik told The Insider, taking into account all the cases that were brought against him, as well as his participation in Ilya Yashin's stream about Bucha, he is indifferent to the new "administrative office".

“Yashin also warned me through lawyers, I participated in the very stream about Bucha, for which he was imprisoned, and this was when I was under house arrest. I put the device on the Nazis and their courts. I don’t care at all what they brought on me, on the contrary, this is a joyful event, because I am doing everything right. More must be done to ensure that Putin's fascists are defeated in this war. It is curious, of course, what they will write there, but this is not important, the decisions of Putin's fascist courts do not interest me. Everything will end up with us judging them, and this is inevitable and will be in a very foreseeable future.

In September, I was actually told that if I did not leave, I would sit down. I do not want to sit down, but I want to participate in the fight against Putin's fascist regime. These cases do not threaten me. Yes, they deprive me of the opportunity to return, but my mother and wife remained. From a formal point of view, there is nothing joyful, but on the other hand, everyone who is included in these lists is the best people in the country, and I am glad to be among them. I have discredited, I will discredit and I will discredit.”

In 2021, Reznik was charged with possession of drugs, according to investigators, he acquired 18 grams of marijuana. Reznik himself said that the case was fabricated because of his intentions to be nominated for a new term in the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly.
