Mobilized Alexander Leshkov was sentenced to 5.5 years in a strict regime colony on charges of beating an officer in the Patriot park near Moscow. It is reported by TASS with reference to the court.
Leshkov was trained in November along with other mobilized in the Patriot park near Moscow and argued with the officer. The channel “Caution, the news” published a video where he calls the training of fighters before being sent to war “imitation” and “profanity” and complains that the mobilized were at the shooting range only once, and the rest of the time they are engaged in “masturbation”.
The investigation claimed that Leshkov deliberately provoked a conflict in order to attract attention to himself. He allegedly smoked an electronic cigarette in front of Lieutenant Colonel Denis Mazanov, hit him once in the chest and began to insult him obscenely, urging his colleagues not to follow the orders of the command, the Caution News channel wrote.
According to witnesses, Leshkov represented the interests of his colleagues and was pushed by an officer, and not vice versa. Dozhd, citing Leshkov's lawyer, reports that he did not admit his guilt.
