The daughter-in-law of Senator Sofya Cheloyants, known for her fight against "foreign agents", has Israeli documents, according to leaks from the database of persons with dual citizenship and residence permits.
Dzhabarov's son, unlike his father, is not included in the sanctions list. And so he continues to travel to Western countries. During the war, he posted pictures from Sweden and Norway on his Instagram. Alexander also managed to visit Turkey and Dubai in recent months.
Dzhabarov Jr., as Important Stories wrote, owned the Cypriot company Valuestage Trading Limited, through which he invested in the Russian developer RKS Development. He invested $17.5 million in offshore. Through RKS Development, the Dzhabarovs are connected with the family of businessman Igor Sagiryan. This is a longtime "benefactor" of the senator.
Vladimir Dzhabarov is a native of the FSB with the rank of major general. At the beginning of the 2000s, he was the head of department "K" (for counterintelligence support of the credit and financial system) of the economic security service of the FSB. After his dismissal from the service, he went to work in the area that he previously oversaw. And Sagiryan became the main lobbyist for Dzhabarov's career moves. Sagiryan until 2009 was the president of Renaissance Capital Bank, and Dzhabarov was made vice president. Then Sagiryan headed the Troika Dialog group of companies, where Dzhabarov also moved to the position of vice president. Ruben Vardanyan was the owner of Troika Dialog at that time. Dzhabarov's relatives were also employed in the structures under the leadership of Sagiryan. Sagiryan, who was involved in laundering corrupt money from Russia through Troika Dialog, back in the 1990s helped Putin attract foreign investment and facilitated the opening of a branch of Crédit Lyonnais in St. Petersburg. This bank was used to withdraw large sums of money obtained through corruption abroad. The founder of the Hermitage Capital investment fund, William Browder, called Sagiryan a participant in a scheme to embezzle money under the guise of returning income tax. Today, Sagiryan, who is closely associated with Senator Dzhabarov, does business in London. Sagiryan's family controls the Ping Pong restaurant chain, he himself has British citizenship and lives in the UAE.
Among the real estate in Russia, The Insider found three apartments in the Timiryazevsky residential complex with the Dzhabarovs with a total area of 263 sq. m, a 133-meter apartment on Butyrskaya Street and a cottage in the Green Oasis village near Moscow. The total value of the property is about 200 million rubles.
