State Duma deputy Sultan (Biysultan) Khamzaev prepared a request to the Investigative Committee with a request to check the statements of Boris Grebenshchikov. According to the deputy of RIA Novosti, in one of the singer's interviews, he saw the discrediting of the Russian army, inciting hatred, as well as "assistance to terrorist activities."
According to Khamzaev, Russian society requires a reaction to such statements. “These are not some isolated statements by plague actors. This is an ideological war aimed at forming a defeatist public opinion. “Sleeping cells” of the West, which are focused on spreading fakes, imposing false truths and demonstrating their loyalty to the West,” the deputy said.
RIA Novosti notes that we are talking about an interview that Grebenshchikov gave last year and in which he said that he had sent money to help Ukraine. The agency did not provide other details. In the Telegram channel of Khamzaev, following the publication of RIA Novosti, there is a repost with a fragment of Grebenshchikov's video interview. There, the musician says that he collected "12 million" at a concert in Berlin and this money "went to help Ukraine."
This fragment was cut from an interview that Grebenshchikov gave in May to Channel 9 of Israeli television. It is available in its entirety on the YouTube channel. In a conversation with an Israeli journalist, the singer says that “crazy and sick people are in power in Russia” and that “Russia barbarously, monstrously, obscenely attacked Ukraine.”
The concert at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, mentioned in the interview, took place in March. German musicians took part in the Sound of Peace event, and Grebenshchikov became a special guest.

Khamzaev also came up with the following initiatives: return the death penalty for pedophiles; ban signs in foreign languages; arrest the property of Russians accused of spreading fakes about the army and who left Russia.
