Non-serving Russians over 30 years old will be called up for training camp – State Duma deputy

Non-serving Russians over 30 years old will be sent to military training after the adoption of a law on changing the maximum draft age. This writes URA.RU with reference to a member of the State Duma Defense Committee Viktor Sobolev.

“Those who are over 30 years old will be recruited to receive a military specialty and not be cannon fodder. For this, a lot needs to be done, including we must have a trained mobilization reserve, ”Sobolev said in a conversation with reporters. Those who are in the reserve or reserve, but do not have any military specialty, will also have to go to the training camp.

Updated : Statements about sending non-serving Russians over 30 years old to military training are not connected with reality, the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Colonel General Andrei Kartapolov, told RBC.
