The authorities congratulated the boy who lost his father in the war with the words “Dreams do come true!”

The TV channel "Russia 1" showed a story about how the Ministry of Internal Affairs gives gifts to a boy from Kostroma who lost his father in the war. The presenter began it with the words: “Dreams come true in the New Year. Savely Trokai, a 6-year-old Kostroma resident, knows this for sure. The boy whose father died in the course of SVO <…>”.

In the video itself, the phrase “Dreams come true” is said two more times by the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kostroma Region, Alexander Arapov. He also gives Savely a gift: a cheap smart watch and a car model from the Investigative Committee. According to the host of Russia 1, the child asked for a watch in a letter sent to the Wish Tree. This is a charity event held annually by Putin's platform "Russia – the Land of Opportunities".

Also in the story they say that Savely has two brothers and a sister. Their father, according to the presenter, "died in the Donbass, defending his native country."
