The Ministry of Education has developed an educational module on playing bast shoes for schoolchildren. As the press service of the department writes, it has already been approved by the educational and methodological association for general education and is included in the Register of exemplary basic general education programs.
The program of the module was prepared by the public sports organization "Federation of Russian Lapta of Russia". According to the Ministry of Education, the game of bast shoes will be aimed at developing the physical skills of schoolchildren, as well as their "moral education." The explanatory materials for the module indicate that the lapta also helps prepare students to pass the TRP standards and prepare young men for military service.
At the end of 2022, the Ministry of Education approved a military training program for students in grades 10-11. At the lessons that will be held as part of the OBZh program, schoolchildren will be trained in first aid, handling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, as well as understanding the principle of operation of the F-1 and RGD-5 grenades. In addition, in the history lessons, children will be told about the "importance of Russia in the world political and socio-economic processes" and about "the achievements of the country and its people."
