“Your cowardly silence will end with the fact that one day these same terrorists will come for you” – Zelensky addressed the Russians

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a short video message to the Russians after a rocket attack on a residential building in the Dnieper. The Ukrainian leader appealed to those who, even after this event, did not say "a few words of condemnation of this terror."

“Your cowardly silence, an attempt to wait out what is happening, will end up with the fact that one day these same terrorists will come for you,” Zelensky said. “Evil is very sensitive to cowardice, evil always remembers those who are afraid of it and try to bargain. And when it comes for you, there will be no one to protect you.”

On January 14, during another massive strike on Ukraine, a Russian missile hit a multi-storey residential building in the Dnieper, completely destroying two entrances. As of the morning of January 16, the number of victims reached 35 people. Another 75 people were injured. Rescuers continue clearing debris.

A representative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the house was hit by an X-22 missile launched by a Tu-22M3 bomber from the Kursk region or from the Sea of Azov.

After the start of a full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine in February 2022, Zelensky repeatedly recorded appeals to Russians in Russian. In September, after the start of mobilization, he separately appealed to the indigenous peoples of Russia, in particular, Siberia and the Caucasus, with a call not to participate in "Russia's vile and shameful war."
