The Chechen authorities are negotiating the launch of the production of the Jihad Machine military vehicle at the Chechenavto plant. This is reported by TASS with reference to the government of the region.
Representatives of the government of the republic, according to TASS, have already held negotiations on the launch on January 19 with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. It is assumed that the "Jihad Machine" will subsequently be tested at the Russian University of Special Forces.
Also, the Chechen authorities plan to create an automobile cluster on the basis of the Chechenavto plant and repair military equipment there. Now the plant assembles Lada Granta and Gazelle-Next together with the GAZ Group.
