The deputy head of the Migration Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine was arrested for 2 months without the right to make bail. This was reported in the Kyiv city prosecutor's office. He is accused of covering up the activities of a group of pimps. A high-ranking official is suspected of committing crimes under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: art. 255 (creation, management of a criminal community or criminal organization); Art. 302 (creating or maintaining places of debauchery); Art. 303 (pimping or engaging a person in prostitution).

He was detained as part of a special operation to expose a criminal organization whose members organized a network of brothels in Kyiv and recruited women into prostitution.
