Romanian barge with 860 tons of wheat sank in Ukraine

Romanian barge with 860 tons of wheat sank in the port of Reni on the Danube in the Odessa region. This is reported by the Romanian TV channel PRO-TV. According to the media, which refers to information from the shipowner, during loading, water began to flood the engine room. The ship belongs to a Romanian company from Constanta.

It is specified that five Romanian sailors managed to escape, but the barge with grain could not be kept afloat. Mayor Reni confirmed the information to Ukrainian journalists.
