Four people died in a gas explosion in a residential building in the Tula region

Four people died in a gas explosion in one of the entrances of a residential building in Efremov, Tula region. This is reported by TASS with reference to emergency services.

One entrance collapsed. According to the agency, several people were rescued from the rubble, how many residents remain under the rubble is unknown.

"Interfax" reports that during the analysis of the rubble, the bodies of five dead were found. According to Shot, a few minutes before the explosion in the five-story building, an elderly woman from the 4th floor called her granddaughter and asked to call emergency services because the apartment smelled strongly of gas.

In November, an explosion occurred in one of the apartments in a residential building in the village of Tymovskoye on Sakhalin, killing 10 people. At first, the governor of the Sakhalin region, Valery Limarenko, wrote that the explosion of domestic gas was the cause of the incident, but a little later he added that the house was not gasified. Then the governor again wrote about the gas explosion, in one of the last reports it was said that a gas cylinder had exploded.
