The Moscow City Court upheld the decision to deprive the Novaya rasskazh-gazeta magazine of its mass media registration certificate. Roskomnadzor put forward claims to the publication: the regulator insisted that the magazine was not published. The editorial board's complaint against the decision of the Basmanny Court was dismissed.
Novaya rasskazh-gazeta is a magazine published by the employees of Novaya Gazeta who remained in Russia after the publication was closed.
The registration certificate was canceled in September. Roskomnadzor claimed that Novaya rasskaz-gazeta had not been published for more than a year: the publication was registered in 2009, and the first issue came out in July 2022.
