TASS, citing Russian operational services, reports that a Russian family is under the rubble in Turkey. “Four Russians found themselves under the rubble of the house: a husband and wife and their children. There are chances to save them, ”said the source of the agency. Earlier, TASS reported on the death of one Russian citizen in Turkey.

Reuters correspondents report that aid has not reached all the affected areas. Thus, a resident of the city of Antakya told them that for two days she had not seen a single rescue team, as well as tents or food distribution points. “We survived the earthquake, but we will die of hunger or cold,” the woman told reporters.

Many residents chose to spend the night in their cars for fear of returning to their homes.

Two powerful earthquakes occurred on February 6. Thousands of buildings were destroyed, tens of thousands of people were injured. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared a state of emergency in 10 provinces of the country. In addition, Turkey has declared mourning for the victims until February 12.
