Anarchist Denis Kozak was detained in Kazakhstan at the request of Russia. This was reported to The Insider by human rights activist Ivan Astashin, citing friends of the detainee. In Russia, Kozak was prosecuted under an article about justifying terrorism because of his comment on the social network.
Kozak managed to inform his friends about his detention in Kazakhstan. According to them, he is being taken to the Criminal Police Department in Almaty.
Presumably, the reason for the detention was that he was put on the international wanted list by the Russian Federation.
The initiation of proceedings against the anarchist became known in June 2022. The reason for this was his comment on VKontakte about Mikhail Zhlobitsky's self-explosion in the building of the regional department of the Arkhangelsk FSB in 2018. Kozak's apartment was searched, and he himself was able to leave Russia.
Commenting on the accusations against him, Kozak explained that in his comment there was no explicit approval or assessment of Zhlobitsky's act, but only an analysis of the reasons for what happened.
