The head of the city of Dmitrov near Moscow, Ilya Ponochevny, blurred the Prada logo on his down jacket before posting photos from the flower- laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame memorial on social networks. The Telegram channel Mash drew attention to this. The ceremony was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.
At the same time, in a photograph from the same event, published on the website of the administration of the Dmitrov City District, a red bar with a logo is visible on the official’s black down jacket, which is not in the photos from social networks.
A jacket similar to the one worn by the official can be found on the TSUM website. It costs 340 thousand rubles.
At the end of December, the team of Alexei Navalny published photos from the birthday party of the wife of Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, which was attended by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov. One of the pictures shows that at the moment when Peskov says a toast into the microphone, Ivanov pulls up his cardigan sleeve, covering the watch on the press secretary's wrist. As noted in the investigation, these watches cost 6 million rubles, i.е. half of Peskov's official annual income.
