The Governor of the Bryansk region announced the UAV attack. According to Mash, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Bryansk International Airport

The governor of the Bryansk region announced the attack of the Ukrainian UAV. According to him, the drone was shot down by the Russian air defense system. He wrote about it in his Telegram channel:

“The air defense systems of the RF Armed Forces repelled another attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to our defenders, an UAV was shot down over the Bryansk region.”

The governor added that there were no casualties or damage. What exactly the drone was trying to attack, he did not specify. According to the Mash Telegram channel, the Armed Forces of Ukraine unsuccessfully attacked the Bryansk International Airport for the second time in the last two days. Around 9:30 a.m., a group of drones with explosives was launched towards the airport, the report said.

The Zhest Bryansk channel claims that as a result of air defense operations in the Bryansk region, the wreckage of a drone fell on a house under construction. “A special commission will assess the damage, the owner of the home ownership will be compensated for the damage,” the publication states.

Earlier in February, Bogomaz said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile attack on the Starodubsky municipal district. The authorities of the Russian border regions, including the Bryansk region, have been regularly reporting strikes since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, many residents have to move to relatives and leave their homes. There is a yellow level of terrorist threat in the regions.

In addition, partisans began to operate in Russia. Some of them act alone, but there are entire groups that say their goal is to counter the Russian authorities and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, there have been reports from various regions of undermining railway tracks or power transmission towers, and recently they began to set fire to relay cabinets near the tracks.
