In the United States, a Russian woman was accused of trying to poison a Ukrainian woman and steal her identity

In the United States, a Russian woman was found guilty of trying to kill her Ukrainian friend in order to steal her identity. According to CBS News, on charges of attempted murder, false imprisonment and embezzlement, she faces up to 25 years in prison.

As the investigation found out, in 2016 Nasyrova tried to poison her friend, eyelash extension master from Ukraine Olga Tsvik. She came to her apartment in Queens and treated her to a cheesecake that was laced with phenazepam, a powerful sedative. When the victim became ill and lost consciousness, Nasyrova scattered phenazepam tablets on the floor to simulate an attempted poisoning. But traces of phenozepam remained on the container that contained the cheesecake, so investigators proved poisoning.

After recovering from the poisoning, Zwick discovered that she had lost her passport, work permit in the United States, jewelry and money.

In 2014, Nasyrova was put on the international wanted list for killing a woman in Russia and stealing her savings. She was also accused of drug possession and robbery of men she met through the Internet.
