Russia lost 103 pieces of equipment, including 36 tanks, during the three days of the offensive against Avdiivka and Vuhledar. Loss data for February 8-10 was calculated by the Dutch OSINT project Oryx.
According to Oryx, Ukraine lost 20 pieces of equipment during the same period, including 2 tanks. Thus, the ratio of losses by the evening of February 10 was about 5:1. The overall ratio of equipment losses by Russia and Ukraine, according to Oryx, is 9189 and 2941, or 3.12 to 1.
Earlier, Oryx reported that the Russian Federation had lost 1,688 tanks since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, 1,000 Russian tanks were destroyed at the front, 544 were captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 79 were damaged, and another 65 were abandoned by the military on the battlefield. According to analysts, Russia could lose up to half of its tank fleet. Oryx military analyst Yakub Yanovsky stated that actual losses in tanks could reach two thousand units.
