The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the poisoning of his assistant, the commander of the Akhmat special forces and the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps, Apta Alaudinov. He wrote about it in the Telegram channel.
According to Kadyrov, the commander was poisoned a few days ago; on February 8, Alaudinov's adjutant received an envelope with a message. It turned out that the letter was saturated with a poisonous substance. Alaudinov felt a "pungent specific smell", after which he and the adjutants treated their hands and washed the nasal cavity. Everyone who came into contact with the envelope was admitted to the medical battalion, thanks to the toxicologist, serious consequences were avoided, Kadyrov noted. He clarified that now General Alaudinov and both adjutants are in a Moscow clinic and are on the mend. Experts took samples to determine the poisonous substance.
Kadyrov claims that an investigation into the assassination is underway, those involved are being identified, and “there are already results.”
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Kadyrov has supported Putin's decisions through his Telegram channel with 3,012 million subscribers. He can criticize the generals and the command, but he does not question the actions of the president. So, in October, the head of Chechnya accused General Alexander Lapin of the loss of Liman by the Russian military, in the same month Lapin was removed from his post. In September, Kadyrov called for "self-mobilization" in all regions, after which Putin nevertheless announced a "partial" mobilization in the Russian Federation. Kadyrov also demonstratively "sent to war" to Ukraine three of his underage sons – 16-year-old Akhmat, 15-year-old Eli and 14-year-old Adam. He showed a video from Mariupol, where children are standing with small arms in their hands. After discussing the act online, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, Nina Ostanina, said that Kadyrov is a good father, it’s just that Chechnya has a different upbringing culture.
